There has been some sort of massacre in a warehouse in Los Angeles. SG-1 arrives to find only two survivors: A girl locked in a cage and a scientist, Keffler (Brad Greenquist.) Surveilence video reveals the girl, Anna to be the killer. Keffler the scientist and son of a convicted Nazi war criminal speaks only in riddles. Also found in the warehouse are artifacts of the Goa’uld and some sort of Goa’uld ark.

The girl, Anna has no memory of the murders. It appears that Keffler can prod her until another personality bursts through; that of Sekhmet... an acient Goa’uld. Keffler somehow managed to implant into her. Kefflers’ experiment it turns out was to implant Goa’uld genetic material into the girl mixing it with her own DNA in order to gain access to ancient Goa’uld secrets.

Although this meant extreme pain to the girl, Keffler hoped to discover through Sekhmet the secret to disarming the ark which is an explosive device set to explode in a few short hours.
The solution to the riddle lies in Sekhmet and therefore in the girl, the mad scientist keffler who refuses to cooperate with the SG-1 team.
